CAFÉ AUSTRALIA GOURMET FOOD SHOP

Café Australia has been so designed to ensure that your visit will be more than the experience of eating fresh, exciting and modern Australian fare and enjoying a glass or two of our world renowned wines. Before you enter the Café/Restaurant and/or our Veranda Bar, you will pass through the Gourmet Food Shop which is to be sited at the front entrance.

Our Gourmet Food store will be the sister shop to Australia Shop but will carry a very different range of food products, as well as boutique alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Our aim will be to bring these new Australian lines to your attention.

Australia offers a cornucopia of wonderful foods such as luxuriant honeys from all parts of Australia, unusual sauces to tempt the palate, along with exotic spices and unusual teas and coffees. We will be featuring some of the more familiar lines such as Charmaine Solomons’ herbs, spices and cooking sauces as well as the now famous Murray River Pink Salt Flakes and Husk’s and My Chai’s exciting range of teas. Beerenberg’s renowned jams and pickles will also be there, including their Coopers Ale Barbecue Relish. The list is endless and we will continually be on the lookout for new products from Australia to introduce into our Gourmet range. To do this we will have the help of selected buyers, who will assist us in bringing these foodstuffs to you in our new Store.

All in all, a visit to Café Australia will be something to be enjoyed any time of day. The Gourmet Shop will remain open during restaurant hours for the convenience of our valued patrons
